You can check your order status in your Silencer Shop dashboard under My Orders. This will show what step your order is on in the process and if any information is missing at any time.
☐ Create Accounts
Create a Silencer Shop account and an ATF eForms account.
IMPORTANT: Your full legal full name and email address must match exactly on both accounts.
☐ Create your Form 1 Order
Go to your Silencer Shop dashboard to access the ATF eForm 1 tab.
You can start a new Form 1 from this location to enter in your firearm’s details, such as original manufacturer, model, serial number, and caliber.
☐ Complete Registration
Fill out your registration information — this includes all registration questions and your personal details. You can do this directly on Silencer Shop in your Registration Information to get a head start before getting your fingerprints done.
☐ Upload a Photo
Upload a passport-style photo to your account (valid for 1 year).
This step cannot be completed at the kiosk and must be done through the Silencer Shop mobile app or online under your Registration Information.
☐ Upload your Fingerprints
Submit your fingerprints via a Silencer Shop Kiosk, mail in physical fingerprint cards or send us your EFT file to [email protected].
☐ Select a Registration Type — Choose Individual, Trust, or Corporation
Upload any required supporting documents (e.g., trust documents or corporate paperwork).
If you’d like to register as a trust and don’t already have one, you can easily purchase a trust directly through our website by searching trust.
☐ Review & Signature Request
Silencer Shop will review your information and send your electronic signature request via email — complete all required signatures promptly.
☐ ATF Submission
Once everything is reviewed and signed, your dealer will work directly with you to complete the ATF submission once the suppressor has arrived to their location. Please give your dealer time to prepare for the submission.
You’ll get a notification when it’s time to proceed. Your dealer may contact you to start your submission.
☐ Wait for ATF Approval
After submission, the ATF reviews and approves your Form 1.
You will receive an email and PDF one approved by the ATF.
☐ Completing your SBR/SBS
Once approved you and your dealer will receive the email notification, visit your selected dealer to complete the pickup and enjoy your new suppressor!
