Refunds, Cancellations, and Returns at Silencer Shop

This article explains when refunds, cancellations, and returns are available at Silencer Shop. Eligibility depends on the type of product ordered and the current status of the order.

How Refunds Are Issued

  • Refunds are typically sent back to the original payment method.

  • Depending on your bank, funds may take several business days to appear after processing.

Special Payment Situations

  • Older orders may be refunded by paper check.

  • Canceled or replaced credit cards will still receive the refund through the linked bank account, if active.

  • If a refund was mistakenly issued as a gift card, our support team can correct it. Adjusted refunds usually take 7–10 business days.

Refund Timing

  • Once a refund is processed by Silencer Shop, most customers receive funds within about one week.

  • Exact timing depends on your financial institution

Order-Specific Refund & Cancellation Policies

NFA Firearm Orders (2 Series & 5 Series)

Refund eligibility depends on the order’s transfer and shipping status.

Orders That Have Not Shipped

  • Backordered items may be canceled for a full refund.

  • Orders that have not entered shipping may still qualify for a full refund, even if paperwork has been started.

Orders Ready for Shipment or In Transit

  • Orders that are packaged or in transit can still be canceled for a full refund, as long as the shipment can be stopped and returned.

Orders Delivered to the Dealer

  • Once an item has been delivered to the dealer, refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

  • The item must be transferred back to Silencer Shop before the refund is issued.


8 Series Orders

  • Cancellation requests must be made by the dealer.

  • Customers should contact their dealer directly for assistance with these orders.


Form 1 Services

  • Unsubmitted Form 1 orders are eligible for a full refund.

  • Submitted Form 1 orders are not eligible for a refund of the $50 service fee, since the service has already been completed.

Accessories & Non-NFA Items

If the Item Has Not Shipped

  • Accessories may be canceled for a refund if they have not yet shipped.

  • An order marked as “Delivered” means it has shipped, not that it has arrived.

If the Item Has Shipped

  • Shipped accessories must be returned before a refund can be issued.

  • Items must be:

    • New and unused

    • In original packaging

Once the item is received and inspected, the refund will be processed.


Restocking Fees

  • Some returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee, depending on delivery status and product type.

  • Any applicable fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Can I cancel my order after it ships?

Yes, in many cases — but the item may need to be returned first, and a restocking fee may apply.

Why wasn’t my full amount refunded?

Some refunds are reduced due to restocking fees or non-refundable service charges.
