Your selected dealer is responsible for the key in-person and compliance steps during your transfer, including:
Receiving your suppressor after the Form 3 (FFL-to-FFL transfer) is approved.
Preparing your Form 4 submission to the ATF.
Assisting with ATF eForm submission — helping you complete and submit eForms when needed through the Silencer Shop Full Auto system.
Receiving the ATF approval notification and verifying the approval.
Completing the Form 4473 and transfer paperwork at the time of pickup and confirming your identity.
Tip: Contact your dealer directly with questions about pickup scheduling, required ID, or dealer-specific fees — they’ll be your primary point of contact once the item reaches their shop.
